Living the sea is an unique sensorial experience. The sea, mysterious moving sculpture, gently caresses the boat with its rhythm and illuminates it with its reflexes. Impressed by this sight, it inspired Zema to create an organic environment for a lounge bar on a cruise ship. Henry Moore’s sculpture inspired the yacht furniture design, dedicated to the great English artist that gave new life to modern art. The lounge bar becomes an unique area with soft curved boiseire in ash tree that not only has a functional purpose but also introduces you to the sea view. The wengè parquet gives the place a cosy elegance and a red carpet divides the functional spaces. The bar seats were designed with a strong sculptural purpose, in harmony with the general idea of the area. Furniture design with soft shapes like those of the Ring Collection were the most natural choice. The lateral holes in the tables, chairs and stool not only give a light appearance but are also good places to put magazines and small objects. Realized in double color polyurethane with either a rough or smooth finish and the possibility to choose different combinations of colours to match the general style of the surroundings. The height of the objects may be regulated to suit the user’s needs by pressing a button that activates an internal gas piston.
